This page is a bit of a potpourri of miscellaneous thoughts and pictures about the cruise in general - read on for as much as you're interested J Rock Climbing WallThere is a rock climbing wall on the Jewel of the Seas, although it could only be opened a few days due to the strong winds. Still, a challenge is a challenge ... Food and the Grand BuffetThe food on RCL was in general excellent, although the breakfast buffet lacked a little variety from day to day. The evening meals in the main restaurant had variety and imagination, and the specialist restaurant Portifino's was superb. And, of course, a cruise wouldn't be a cruise without a Grand Buffet ... Final ThoughtsThe objective's of this cruise for both of us was to have a relaxing break, indulge ourselves in a bit of luxury, visit places we had been to before and liked, and generally to re-charge the batteries. Those objectives were fully met! Overall, we enjoyed ourselves on RCL, and would have no hesitation in cruising with them again. |
