Kowloon
Home Up Kowloon The Peak Lantau Ladies Market

13 hours later we woke up, and, after a typically expensive hotel breakfast, we went out to hit the town. We spend Friday day time wandering around Kowloon, taking in the sights and being accosted by hawkers every few minutes saying "Tailored suit? Copy watch?".

We ended up down on the harbour front, were we took the following pictures, both of the harbour itself and on the "Avenue of Stars". The statue in the photo below is of Bruce Lee, one of the original Hong Kong movie stars.

In the evening, we took a look at the Temple Street night market, and discovered a multitude of stalls selling all sorts of souvenirs and other stuff that we'd didn't need, want or understand, along with various fortune tellers, buskers and what seemed like half the population of Kowloon.
